folder /log goes bad when changed website ownership on panel

When website ownership is changed through panel - customer's website folder /log (e.g. /var/www/client1/web2/log ) gets size 0, and loops to root (at least in midnight commander).

In order to reproduce: -create website with one owner -(maybe) wait for some logfiles to get filled/sreated -change website owner through panel (as admin, at least) -/log folder is unaccessible.

Same happens on KVM and on openVZ virtual machines.
