how can I properly run magento's cron.sh using ispconfig cron jobs when using custom php version?
Hi,
I'm trying to configure a cron job for magento's cron.sh file using the cron job tool in ispconfig and I don't know if this is to be expected or if it's a bug.
Configuration
The server is using Ubuntu Xenial 16.04 and Nginx and I followed the guides in HowToForge
I've created a website to host the Magento Eshop and assigned a custom php 5.6 version to it.
These are the permissions on cron.sh (if I set it as 644 I get an error in cron_error.log "Permission Denied")
-rwxr-xr-x 1 web9 client1 1639 Mar 6 15:23 cron.sh*
I've added my cronjob like this
The problem
I can see the cron.sh file is executed in syslog but it fails.
I tried su web9
and tried to execute it manually and I noticed it's not using the custom php version but the system-wide php version.
web9@:~$ php -v
PHP 7.0.15-0ubuntu0.16.04.2 (cli) ( NTS )
Copyright (c) 1997-2017 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v3.0.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2017 Zend Technologies
Is there a way to set the user for the website web9
to use the correct php version? The one assigned in Pic 1
Also is it possible for ISPConfig to do this automatically when changing php versions?
Thanks in advance.
