postconf warnings during upgrade to 3.2b2

The following line was repeated a dozen or so times during the upgrade. (reproduced in the perfect server debian 10 VM image)

postconf: fatal: -e, -X, or -# accepts no comment input

in the output of ps xaf I see during that time I saw: postconf -e # This is supported in version 2.9, but lets not create another conf file for it
