Firewall or a real-time scanner for file uploads via Pure-FTPd and ClamAV as an option in ISPConfig?

As ISPConfig and tutorial "Perfect server" offers to install ClamAV, Pure-FTPd, rkhunter, etc., recently I asked myself if there is some kind of a possibility to integrate them as an file scanner on FTP upload, as an option into ISPConfig interface?

Either as an option in ISPConfig to enable it, like real-time anti-virus scanner?

  • scan a file uploaded using Pure-FTP, which would perform a malware scan on each file uploaded using FTP?
  • scan a file uploaded using Web, which would perform a malware scan on each file uploaded using HTTP(S)? (may this could be a part of a CMS like WordPress, etc.)

At least, via Pure-FTP, to somehow integrate a ClamAV in the process, if possible?

cPanel has this at least:

  • https://malware.expert/howto/scan-ftp-uploaded-files-on-cpanel-servers-with-clamav/

I know cPanel has got file manager, and that there were some topics around why ISPConfig doesn't come with one, but in cPanel file manager this thing works, for example when I try to upload some .zip file with a malicious code inside a .php file in that compressed archieve, it automatically cancles the upload process and warn the user.

Even if the user has got the Imunify360 product, which offers some kind of this too:

Or, maybe, just a way of thinking about how to improve and make ISPConfig better for future.

Thank you for feedback and ideas!
