Add option to bypass amavis for authenticated users / networks
Hi, our ispconfig with postfix and amavis has problems when customers send huge amount of mail (e.g. mailing with 12.000 receipients). The problem arises because every single mail is checked by amavis before it leaves our server. This happens even when the original mail is delivered to us with smtp-auth.
We'd like to be able disable amavis checks for authenticated users and well known hosts/nets.
At the moment we modified the master.cf submision entry like this: submission inet n - - - - smtpd -o content_filter= -o syslog_name=postfix/submission -o receive_override_options=no_unknown_recipient_checks,no_header_body_checks
-o smtpd_tls_security_level=encrypt
-o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=yes -o smtpd_client_restrictions=permit_sasl_authenticated,reject
-o milter_macro_daemon_name=ORIGINATING
But http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/amavisd-new-docs.html#pbanks-ex (Example 3) shows different possibilities for this. But I think this should be added directly through ispconfig. Otherwise I would have to patch to match after each ispconfig update. :)
Cheers, Nicki
