Patch / How to for Jessie / Apache 2.4, systemd upgrade
Hello,
I upgraded to Jessie stable today and it includes apache 2.4.x and a few other major/minor changes, and I am changing vhost data to get ispConfig3 working again.
Should I expect big problems? Are you going to offer Apache 2.4 support for ISPConfig3 - with a patch / or as a fork? (or are you going to make us switch to NginX)?
Could you offer a patch or a guide on how to upgrade to Jessie and apache 2.4.x and continue to use IspConfig3?
I know during the upgrade process, that there is a current problem with initscripts and the /dev/shm symling needs to be deleted so that initscripts can be configured and ifupdown, which depends on it, and the rest of the updates.
Also, spamassassin has a new default setting so the /etc/default/spamassassin file has to be modified - this is explainied in the update process.
The major errors are fail2ban and clamav-daemon which have problems - probably related to apache 2.4 which I am trying to resolve.
Any help / guide /patch appreciated, but it seems do-able now to me.
Thanks for this
Eddie
