nginx Rewrite Rule doesn't work
Hi,
The nginx rewrite rule generated by Aliasdomain-Rewrite does not work.
This is what is created:
if (http_host ~* "^meinserver.de
") {
rewrite ^/(.+)$ http://www.meinserver.de/$1 permanent;
}
the rule matches only when the URI begins with a slash (i.e. http://meinserver.de/user). But not when the site is accessed by domainname only (http://meinserver.de)
this rule works (note the deleted slashes): rewrite ^(.+)$ http://www.meinserver.de$1 permanent;
kind regards Oliver
