preg_match fails for reverse domains (dns.inc.php in function dns_zone_get_id)
the regex to verify for correct domain name does not work with reverse domains (e.g: 211.168.192.in-addr.arpa). It only matches the first numbers but fails on the first dot.
/^[a-z0-9][a-z0-9\-]+[a-z0-9](\.[a-z]{2,4})+$/i
API call is not usable for reverse Domains. Quick fix in my case:
/^[a-z0-9][a-z0-9\-\.]+[a-z0-9](\.[a-z]{2,4})+$/i
Add a \.
in the second char range
