At present while not a required entry, if you want to add a title for a client, you only have the options Mr./Ms.. This is exclusive of non-binary identified people, and it would be good to add Mx (see https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/mx), which in the database could be represented as an 'x'.
Another option would be to turn title (or salutation) into a free text field, but that might more complex in a multi-lingual environment.

This list could of course go on for ever, is there a way that the list can be modifiable in the back end, so any SysOp can add the relevant options for his/her/their clients?
@OptikWebCreative How would this help your business exactly? Would it bring flocks of people to your doors requesting your services? I think not. It's simply nonsense that confused people seem to think they need to ease their confusion. We're a binary race, like it or not and the basic Mr and Mrs are there to differentiate male/female. Don't pretend you are on some imaginary moral high ground pretending to get offended for other people about an issue that is imaginary to start with. This is precisely why the 'title' option would be better removed.
@grungy That's ironic, more ridiculous labels is exactly what is being requested here...
Wow! I did not expect to unleash a storm of transphobia and queerphobia with a little feature request. And I did not expect the community to be more backward than some governments which do allow for more than two gender options.
On a practical level, the best option would be to make these options configurable. Also - they do not need to be called "Sex". In fact, the option is called "Title" right now, and is useful for mass mailings - you want to know how to address your clients. Nobody will force you to even allow the option of "Mx" as title...
@OptikWebCreative , I agree, although I have my doubts about getting more business. As a queer cooperative this is about being true to who we are, and in relation to queer and trans clients respecting their identity. Makes for happier customer relationships for sure.
@andreas Not correct? How many sets of genitals do you have? I expect you took quite a while searching to eventually find a link to back up your nonsense.
There is also nothing backward or phobic about the views I, for one, am expressing as I live in the real world, and the confusion I speak about is very real. You are confusing gender with sexual preference and lifestyle preference. Mr/Mrs to identify gender. You, like everyone else, are not mixed gender, or no gender. It is nonsense. And I don't want to know or care about your preferences, or that of my clients, and why are you so keen to broadcast it and want to know your clients' preferences so badly?
Reality check needed desperately for a lost generation.
@andreas I don’t see it specifically gaining me any more business, but having the options will certainly allow me to communicate with my clients with the correct / preferred title.
@User I’m sorry it is you who needs a reality check.
@OptikWebCreative Seriously, you can't even make meaningful statements about the topic you are arguing for without immediately backtracking, obviously as you haven't a clue what you are talking about which leads me back to your seemingly confused state. Therapists await you with outstretched palms...
Bug in ispc allows user to modify their fcgi starter and execute commands as an arbitrary user.
And how is this related to the gender field? If you found an issue, then please make a new bug report for it instead of posting such an info to a non related thread.
@andreas : if you want that why not hire someone or do it yourself. (if it brings you business it pays itself back)
Then you will have what you want and the same for anybody else who just want to keep only Mr or Ms or nothing at all. For me personally there are more important issues with ispconfig to solve then this cosmetic issue.
