MultiServer database user password change
Hi,
I have 3 Ispconfig servers in the local network.
One that manages the web and the pannel (server_id 1) 10.0.0.1
The second which manages mails + dns (server_id 3) 10.0.0.2
the third which manages the databases + dns (server_id 4) 10.0.0.3
Everything is fine except for one small thing,
When I modify a databases user, the password for example.
Nothing changes.
Except that in reality a little anyway because in the 3 ispconfig databases in the "web_database_user" table the users are there but with a server_id 0 ...
An idea ?
EDIT :
when creating a database user, ispconfig created 2 users in the database, one 10.0.0.1 and one localhost.. This is why my password change does not "work" it works on the localhost because ispconfig sends the modification to the localhost user
Edit 2 :
even by manually changing the password for 10.0.0.1 and localhost from the 10.0.0.3 database the site is still active with the old password.
the problem surely comes from the fact that already: 1/ the server_id should be 4 instead of 0 2/ He should logically modify or add only in the database of 10.0.0.3 but he adds in the 3 databases.
Very Strange
