Unable to create or edit database user
Summary
I am also having an issue updating database users from the control panel, although it's not a multiserver setup, so I'm unsure if it's a related issue. I can create databases and websites manually, but when I create or attempt to edit a database user, the usual pending change number does not appear and no edit is made. I'm not sure when or why this specific feature stopped working, but for now I've been having to create the users I create in the Control Panel manually using PHPMyAdmin (so they exist in both locations) until the issue is fixed.
Steps to reproduce
- Attempt to create or edit a database user manually
- Wait a couple minutes and see that no update/change notice appears and user wasn't created or updated in the database. 2a. Create user manually in database (I use PHPMyAdmin) to match the information in Control Panel to prepare for fix.
Correct behaviour
Create or edit database user should apply changes/create user. Not sure what's stopping it. I see it running the cron but there's no actions set to run. I've attempted to update ISPConfig3 as well (there was an update even though there was no notice in the Control Panel). Even after update, issue persists.
Environment
Server OS + version: Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS ISPConfig version: 3.2.10p1 Software version of the related software: Apache2 Server version: Apache/2.4.57 (Ubuntu) Apache2 Server built: 2023-04-08T12:56:02 MariaDB Server version: 10.6.12-MariaDB-0ubuntu0.22.04.1-log Ubuntu 22.04
Proposed fix
I wish I knew. I haven't had a chance to dig into the issue myself really. Just been trying to work around it. Let me know what you need from me and I'll do my best to assist.
Thank you.
